It’s a big day for us at QuintessenceLabs. We’re proud to unveil our new branding, which better captures what our company is all about. We’ve grown a lot over the past few years, building great products, creating an incredible place to work, and keeping our growing list of customers and partners satisfied. However, we never quite found the right time to reassess our branding.
Last year was a truly exciting time for QLabs — we were selected as a Top 20 Winner in the Westpac Businesses of Tomorrow program, awarded some exciting contracts with the Australian Department of Defence, experienced strong growth, strengthened key technology partnerships with companies like PKWARE, NetDocuments and VMware, and of course continued to further refine our products. If there was ever a time to give our branding a reboot, it is now.
Our founder and CEO Vikram Sharma started QuintessenceLabs out of leading research at the Australian National University, leveraging quantum effects to strengthen cybersecurity through quantum key distribution and quantum random number generation. He took this seed, nurtured it, and the result is our current portfolio of data protection solutions. This incudes the world’s fastest true random number generator and effective key management, that together deliver a world leading data protection system. More is on the way, such as the maturation of our quantum key distribution solution that tackles the emerging threat that quantum computers pose for data security.
The deployment of quantum science to solving broad business problems is not new, but its application in the field of data security is quite a recent breakthrough. QuintessenceLabs harnesses the power of deep science and nature to protect the most valuable information, giving our customers control over their data and information. We like to push the boundaries of what’s possible when it comes to data security, to help our customers push boundaries of their own.
You’ll notice this renewed emphasis on the strengths of nature in our new logo and website, as we communicate the underlying power of quantum science and how it’s used to protect our most valuable assets—data–in this digital age. This data is the fabric of our society, and we’ve seen what can happen when it is compromised in breaches and other cybersecurity threats.
Our passion to protect data allows our customers to confidently do what they do best, because we make the most powerful form of data security easy to implement and access. This is evident in our new tagline, Data Uncompromised. We know how important it is to make sure data is secure and available to only those who need it when they need it. By building a solid foundation based on natural forces, we can deliver on this pledge in ways others cannot, giving you peace of mind by ensuring your data is secure and uncompromised.
