Andreas Baumhof

Andreas Baumhof is an internationally renowned cybersecurity expert and entrepreneur. As Chief Technology Officer, Andreas is responsible for the company’s overall technology strategy and direction, driving innovation across its cybersecurity portfolio while advancing QuintessenceLabs’ expertise in quantum cryptography, cryptographic security, and key and policy management.

Andreas was co-founder and CTO of Microdasys Inc., where he developed the first-ever SSL proxy, and later co-founder and CEO of TrustDefender until its acquisition by ThreatMetrix in 2011. He then served as CTO of ThreatMetrix, where he was responsible for product development and strategic technology direction, leading the company through its acquisition by LexisNexis in 2018.
